"A healer isn't one who heals but rather one who facilitates healing utilizing energy or frequencies that are outside the body." ~ Christine Upchurch
t_When we feel out of harmony with ourselves; whether physically, emotionally, mentally or spiritually we seek out help. We want to feel good again, we want to feel like ourselves again. Depending on what is going on we choose a modality we hope fits. Sometimes a combination of things is an even better fit.
Etymologically, the word Heal comes from Whole, to put together what has been broken apart. This can be applied in all arenas of life. Healing takes many forms. And sometimes the healing does not put you back together in the same way, sometimes it pulls you and pushes you and forces you to expand.
An acclaimed healer Dr. Eric Pearl once said, "If you're lucky, your healing will come in the form you anticipate. If you're really lucky, your healing will come in a form you've not even dreamed of---one which the Universe specifically has in mind for you."
What is True Healing? From the standpoint of Esoteric Healing; true healing, healing that will change a person’s life and inner motivation, can only happen when the Soul of the patient is involved. The patient or client is usually not conscious of this dialogue nor that he/she is controlling the direction of the healing from that level.
We as healers, connect to our Higher Self , to that of the clients and then to Source. Through this connection we guide energy in a very systematic way, covering all parts of the body and the etheric anatomy, (now being referred to as the bio-electric field of the body). The clients higher soul-self and the Divine work together choosing the appropriate healing for the person at that time. You never go faster than what you are capable of handling. This is a gift of love and care the Divine bestows on us. We usually want things fast; we are a society of instant desires and quick fixes. Give me "The Magic Pill" and make this all go away! We can be impatient, and at various times judgmental and critical of ourselves or others when it comes to growth and healing wounds and areas of vulnerability and limitation.
Evolving takes time, the only other recourse would be a 'Revolution' and that would be painful, stressful, and traumatic. Far better if we can just relax into our healing. Take it a loving step at a time.
With the incoming of the Seventh Ray, The Aquarian Age, we now hold the capacity to heal through the whole etheric body. The "etheric body" is a great network of energy weaving through and around the body. It is the vital force which maintains the activity of every function of the body. When there is a withdrawal of vitality, we feel weak and unmotivated and when there is too much energy pouring in we get tense and anxious.
As healers we work with the subtle energies and forces which surround and permeate the patient/client from this level of their being as reflected in the etheric body. What we look for in healing is to get the person back to a place of homeostasis; balance in the body tissues, emotions and/or mind. We work through our intuition and through a skilled modality following the anatomy of the body. It is our diagnostic tool.
Esoteric Healing is based on selflessness and harmlessness always working with the rhythm and rate of the client's energies, and in accordance with the will of their Soul.
When change/healing comes it usually will involve Adjustment and Reorientation from within. It will take as long as it takes. It is a process. I used to despise hearing that word......"Ugh! Another Process?" Can't we just move through this thing .....faster?" I'm definitely one of those 'impatient ones' I spoke about. But I keep being shown, sometimes kicking, fighting, bleeding and screaming through it all, that you cannot rush the learning. It really is an evolution. Maybe one of the biggest lessons in life.... is learning how to be more loving and kind with Ourselves.
Healing on this level will call upon us to make decisions from within, decisions which the Soul wants, not what the little personality desires. And from much experience I can tell you that when the ego is resistant, the process just gets more challenging and exhausting.
A teacher of mine put it beautifully when he said something similar. "The thing that causes you the most confusion and pain is to be between this and that, to have one foot here and one foot there. Make a Choice, then act in integrity around that choice. Make a commitment to your truth and your word."
True healing comes from growing; from facing and healing our unhealed parts. We all walk this path whether we are conscious of it or not. Everything that seems outside of you has a root within you. When we address the inside--the outside cannot help but reflect it.
